what is up with carmakers coming up with crossovers? there's the Nissan Juke, then came the Volvo V60 & now, the Mini Countryman..

In my opinion....

So what's coming up this Spring/Summer 2011, one might ask..  

Well, in my opinion, I feel that vintage is making a comeback in a big way.  Although I've been quite biased towards this particular style, I strongly feel that putting a modern twist to it would elevate it further.  Think of how the softness of the the silky chiffon top would feel against your skin during the heat of the summer... Add to that a pair of cotton shorts, a hobo bag & huge Jackie O shades & you're ready to go...

And think of how an ordinary evening date could make you feel special when you don a beautiful lace minidress.. Not only will you feel dreamy, but a sense of romance somehow will linger in the air..

The likes of Marc Jacobs, Cynthia Rowley, & even Alberta Ferreti have proven that vintage is coming back with a bang..

Look out for bright colours mixing with neutrals, platform wedges and loads of attitude.  Bottomline: wear spring with an edge... xoxo

a year has gone, and before we know it, it's the new year again..

so, what can we expect for this year? well, for one, there'll be a couple of changes in the world of fashion and cars (but i'll let azzy elaborate more on that as that's kinda his forte)..

the world of fashion is shifting back to the styles of yesteryear like the swinging 60s..

of course, there'll be constant updates on the goings-on of fashion.. till then, have a fabulous year ahead!! xoxo
