Back in the day, it seemed to be much easier to go out on your own. All you have to do is know what kind of business you want, find some partners or go at it on your own, and then find some shop space to do your business. Ta-daa!! You're all set to run your own business & find your own riches.
However, the same can't be said about the present day. With online media being the No.1 medium for sellers, everyone's trying to make it more convenient for all shoppers out there by providing them an alternative to coming to their physical stores. In fact, many do not even have a business address. Their place of business? Home.
Ahhh... The luxury of staying home & getting paid for it...
Who wouldn't want that kind of life? You don't have to get out of bed, put on a fresh set of clothes or make-up. All you gotta do is turn on the Mac, and click! you are on your way to shopping heaven.
Now, to be a business-person, you got to not only have business acumen, but also some knowledge in IT to be able to keep up with the times.
*Sigh* I do wish times were simpler as it were before...
